Sparta es un grupo de rock Indie formado por ex-miembros de At The Drive-In, un famoso grupo de los 90. Publicaron a finales del 2002 su álbum debut "Wiretap Scars" y un segundo álbum, Porcelain (2004) que los volvería más populares, dentro de la escena underground. Posteriormente lanzan Threes (2006), lanzando el sencillo Taking Back Control, el disco incluye el cortometraje titulado Eme Nakia, una historia basada en las experiencias que vivio el baterista Tony Hajjar durante su niñez en Libano cuando ese país se encontraba en guerra civil. Actualmente(2008) el vocalista Jim Ward realiza una gira como solista alrededor de la Unión Americana y Canadá.
